The
Paris Disneyland Park is a theme park of the Walt Disney Company, located in
France, in Marne-la-Vallée at about 15 km of Paris. It opened on April 12th,
1992. It was first called "Euro Disneyland" until 1994. Then it was "Disneyland Paris" until 2002, when it was given his actual name, "Park Disneyland". These successive changes of name also represent the difficulty of the park to find its identity and its company. Nevertheless, The name "Disneyland Paris", used by the majority of the fans, remains the easier to differentiate it from
the other Parks of Disney. In 1993, the park had attracted 9,5 million visitors.
With an estimate of 15,3 million visitors in 2008, it is more visited park in
Europe and the fifth in the world. On August 12th, 2008, the park received his
200 millionth visitor.
